This Summer Music Day Camp hosted by A-Star Music Education is running a Holiday Workshop for 7-12 year olds, from Monday 31st July to Thursday 3rd August 2017, at Holy Cross Catholic Primary Academy, Harlow.
During this four-day course students will work with our specialists, enhanced DBS (CRB) checked teachers to create a final showcase performance of singing, dance and a music technology segment for family and friends, which will be presented on the Thursday afternoon at 3pm – 3:30pm.
Students help to devise the showcase programme alongside popular songs from musicals, movies and the charts, and every student has an active role within the performance. The workshop only costs £60 for the full four days course and sibling discounts also apply.
No previous experience is necessary, only energy and enthusiasm!
The classes are high energy and fun. Whether you are looking for your child to learn new creative arts skills, make friends or build confidence, this Summer Music Day Camp has something to offer them.

Music is a universal language that embodies one of the highest forms of creativity. A high quality music education should engage and inspire pupils to develop a love of music and their talent as musicians, and so increase their self-confidence, creativity and sense of achievement. As pupils progress, they should develop a critical engagement with music, allowing them to compose, and to listen with discrimination to the best in the musical canon.
